There are certain points, periodically, in the progression of modern music that a band succeeds in creating something unique. In this day and age it grows increasingly more difficult to be unique, what with every Joe Schlomo picking up an old sequencer and plugging it in to make some hip retro noise. If any of you out there have any interest in seeing a truly spectacular live performance that stands out as an example of just this: a creative means to producing a perfectly danceable progressive electro-drone rock end, go see Holy Fuck play. They rule. They're playing in Portland for the 3rd time in 5 months on the 27th of this month if anyone wants to meet me at the show.
